Whereas a Developer is a person who know how to write the code for the game as per the requirement of the designer.

Second step is to be is to design document, in simple words design document is a brief outline of a game, what should it look like, what you need to build just like a blueprint of a building. 
For creating a Design Document you have to list out some points like the skills you will need, what languages you are going to use, what it behave like etc.

The last thing you will need before start coding the game is to decide whether you will need a third party software or not, game development doesn't require many fancy software but it needs very powerful specific software such as 3D modelling programs and Image editors, it requires a high end PC for game development so your budget must be good.

After all the above point is completed and requires software are downloaded than. Although more complex games require game engines to run on. Simply decide what language you are going to write your game in and get right into it. Unity Engine and Android Studio are the most popular software for creating games nowadays

If you want a to do a make games in Unity Engine you can refer to the courses present on Udemy etc. Now we will discuss what languages should you use for creating a game.

Knowing how to game a video game will not sufficient for making money from a game, you will need a good marketing strategy to launch the game into the market. Firstly you have to test your games on different systems or on different places in case your game contain any bugs you will know that and debug it.

Marketing things are not comes under a programmer reach so i would recommend a professional marketing expert for your product. 

Publish you game on Play store and on App store, creating a website for it so that people can purchase it, or create hard copies to sell the game can generate you money.

What languages should you use to make a Video Game Developer?

So, now it's time fo discuss which language is more sufficient for which type of games. However more complicated games designed require more deeper knowledge of that language.

Javascript


Making game with javascript can be very simple task. You can create simple mobile apps and Games by combining JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with PhoneGap platform.

Nowadays lots of people know JS already, this means they have skills to make a game but they are not familiar with, if you have no deeper knowledge of the JS is not necessary for building a game lots of content is already is present on the internet. Learning JS is a best option to create a game nowads cause there are lots of courses available online. 

Java

Java is the most popular language for the Game Development worldwide for android games. Java is popularly used in Android Studio for creating games. Java is fully customized with respect to looks and behavior, Games which are built with Java is fast, efficient and very easy yo personalize.


C Languages

C, C# and C++ are the most commonly used languages when it comes to advanced game and software development. Most console and desktop based computer games are built in C languages. However they are very complex and difficult learn.
